• Mr. Chauhan was born in the middle-class Gujarati family and brought-up in the Surat City of Gujarat.

• He has done his schooling in the same city and followed by graduation in commerce faculty.

• Mr. Mayur had not stopped after graduation, he has successfully completed his LLM, a degree in the field of LAW.

• He has done Master of Art in Political science & Journalism.

• Currently, Mr. Mayur Chauhan knows as Lawyer as well as a political person.

• Mr. Mayur has started his political carrier by joining Bhartia Janta Party in the year 1988, as active worker of bjp yuva morcho he also joined A.B.V.P in the same year.

• Since then, he has been serving precious contribution in public domain. Mayur Chauhan has successfully rendered service for the B.J.P. since he joined the party.

• He was given a responsibility of Surat Loksabha constituency Election Press Note convener for General assembly election in 1995 as his first assignment.

• He was Personal assistant to the Mayor (1995) of the Surat city.

• Ever since he joined B.J.P. he has been serving party from municipal ward to City level organization holding various position namely City executive member, Ward vice president, Ward General Secretary, Convener and also holds various position in Baxi Panch Morcha and BJP Yuva Morcha.

• Since year 1995, Mr. Chauhan has been managing party election affairs at various levels as Surat Loksabha Expenditure Election Incharge, Surat (w) Election Expenditure Agent, Ward convener and multiple election responsibilities etc.

• Mr. Mayur was a Member of Advisory board Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, ZRUCC member, Western Railway, Member of Executive Council, Surat District Lawyers bar Association, Member of Surat City Police Advisory committee.

• Mr. Mayur Chauhan has served as Government nominated Syndicate Member and Government nominated Senate Member, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.

• Mr. Mayur Chauhan has joined as Director of The Panchsheel Mercantile Co. Op. Bank Ltd.

• Currently, Mr. Mayur Chauhan is a Chairman of the The Panchsheel Mercantile Co. Op. Bank Ltd.,

• Joint Secretory of SCOBA (South Gujarat Co. Op. Bank Association) and City Convener, BJP Co. Operative Cell, Surat.
